Our logo is exceptional as it symbolizes our union with our beautiful El Paso community and is a significant display of the iconic Star on the Mountain. The “O” in EmpOURment resembles our collaboration and relationship with the people of El Paso and the surrounding counties since we all play a key role in preventing violence from continuing in our society. Through unity and conversation, we can end violence.
The EmpOURment Project works within El Paso County, Hudspeth County, and Culberson County to collectively change problematic thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors through education and community engagement to prevent sexual violence.
If your agency, business, or organization is interested, we offer community education and awareness workshops that are centered on empowering youth and adults to cultivate inclusivity by challenging harmful gender stereotypes and addressing the root causes of sexual violence.
The Center Against Sexual and Family Violence and The EmpOURment project challenge you to keep the conversation against violence ongoing.
