Love Should Be in Harmony
Every February, CASFV recognizes Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM)—a time dedicated to promoting healthy relationships, empowering young people, and raising awareness about dating violence among teens and young adults.
This year’s theme, “Love Should Be in Harmony,” reminds us that healthy relationships are built on respect, balance, trust, and communication. Love should never involve control, fear, or harm. Through education, prevention, and community engagement, CASFV works to ensure that young people understand what healthy love looks like—and how to seek help when something doesn’t feel right.
TDVAM Events & Activities
Throughout the month, CASFV will host and participate in a variety of TDVAM events, including community outreach, educational workshops, youth engagement activities, and awareness campaigns.
Our calendar of events below includes dates, locations, and brief descriptions of each activity. We invite schools, community partners, families, and youth to join us as we continue spreading awareness and promoting healthy relationship skills.

Chalk About Love
One of our signature TDVAM activities, Chalk About Love, encourages youth and community members to share messages about healthy relationships, boundaries, and respect using sidewalk chalk. These messages help spark conversations and raise awareness in a creative, visible way.
